Ring stacking looks effortless, but a few simple rules make it work every time.
Start with an anchor
Choose one ring you love, such as an engraved band or a ring with a small stone. Build the rest of the stack around it.
Mix widths
Combine one wider band with two or three slim ones. The contrast keeps the stack interesting without looking crowded.
Stay in one tone, or mix on purpose
Gold with gold is always safe. If you mix metals, use at least two pieces of each so it looks planned.
Spread across fingers
You do not need to stack on one finger. Try one ring on the index finger, two on the ring finger and a slim band on the little finger.
Check the fit
Rings should sit comfortably together without pinching. If your fingers swell in summer, choose a size that is easy to remove.
